Detailed Program

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Boumalne Dadès

Early morning departure with a pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Cross the High Atlas Mountains and reach the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, standing at 2,260 meters above sea level. Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, where you’ll explore this magnificent ksar. Next, head to Ouarzazate to visit the city, including the Taourirt Kasbah and its famous film studios. Proceed to the Dadès Valley, known as the “Valley of 1,000 Kasbahs,” passing through the stunning Skoura Palmeraie. Arrive in Boumalne Dadès for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Boumalne Dadès – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes

Depart early in the morning toward the dunes of Merzouga. About 20 km after Tinghir, visit a local palm grove and explore the impressive Todra Gorges. Enjoy lunch on-site, then continue to the palm groves of Tinjdad and Touroug before reaching Erfoud. Finally, head to Merzouga for a camel ride through the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes, with a stop to admire the sunset. Spend the night in nomadic tents or a bivouac amidst the dunes, in a magical atmosphere.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Nkob – Tamnougalte – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, depart for Ouarzazate, crossing desert landscapes and picturesque oases. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Fint Oasis – Marrakech

After breakfast, explore Ouarzazate and its iconic sites, including the Atlas Studios, famous for hosting film productions such as Gladiator, Babel, and Lawrence of Arabia. Then, visit the Fint Oasis, a peaceful haven near Ouarzazate. Finally, cross the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, reaching 2,260 meters above sea level, before returning to Marrakech in the evening.
